Fernando Mendoza is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years clinical experience as a primary care provider. Mr. Mendoza, who focuses on disease prevention and promoting healthy lifestyles, completed over two years of clinical clerkships in multiple fields of medicine in various medical centers and private practices throughout California. He has extensive clinical experience and is proficient in medical therapies, diagnostics, records review and monitoring. His most recent clinical practice includes over ten years in internal medicine- nephrology in Santa Barbara; CA. Mr. Mendoza holds a Certificate of Advanced Qualification (CAQ) in Nephrology since 2011 and has received multiple awards including a Bialis family foundation award for nursing excellence in 2015. He received his physician assistant and family nurse practitioner degrees from Stanford University School of Medicine in 2006.

Mr. Mendoza is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Academy of Nephrology Physician Assistants (AANPA) and The California Association for Nurse Practitioners (CANP) and is certified in advanced cardiac life support. Beside medicine he enjoys family time, hiking, skiing, biking and listening to oldies.
